Court accompaniment for restraining orders or other court procedures. Domestic violence support groups meet on Wed. 6:00-7:00pm at First Baptist Church in Melbourne.

Transitional Housing/Shelter
The Veterans Services Program, provides homes for veterans and disabled veterans. For able veterans there is a transitional housing program where veterans can stay for up to two years, work with a Case Manager and other agencies to identify problems that contribute to their situation, and find effective solutions. For disabled veterans there are additional services, and veterans can remain in their home for a long as they wish.
Transitional housing program for homeless women with and without minor children. Case management and mentoring in the areas of career development, financial stability and life skills. Shelter takes boys 12 years and under, girls, age does not matter.
The Veterans Transitional Facility is a temporary shelter for homeless veterans with their immediate families. The purpose of the Facility is to provide for the immediate needs of homeless veterans while permitting them to search for work, and once employed, to save enough money to acquire living quarters and transportation The Facility consists of ten apartments housed in two buildings which can accommodate up to nineteen residents. In addition to the living areas there is a dayroom, a commercial kitchen for preparing meals, and a storeroom for storing food and other supplies.
Outreach to connect homeless veterans to housing and other services with goal of reducing homelessness among veterans. Serves those not receiving services by engaging them in treatment and rehabilitative programs. Referrals for GPD (Grant per diem) program and apply for HUDVASH.

Operation Center Focus is a transitional housing program for women veterans who are homeless. The program is designed to provide transitional housing and supportive services including medical evaluation, mental health counseling, psycho-social support, education/vocational training, and additional services that focus on the veteran's recovery and restoration of a healthy, responsible lifestyle.
